I agree with Heather, that horrible squat form is maybe not so terrible for JUST your knees, but also the rest of your lumbar. Form is very important, but Tabata got it right. You can do this with any exercise and get a BETTER workout in 4 minutes than most get in 40 minutes
If you do the Tabata movement correctly it is a fluid motion and doesn't put stress on your knees....let me reiterate you have to do it correctly. We did about 15mins of intense exercise and I was exhausted.
