My Google Skilzzzz....

Please take note of my new fancy pants button in the side bar!!!

So one of my gal pals {http://pearlsandpears.blogspot.com/}was refabbing her blog this week and mentioned that she wished I had a button for my blog. For those non-bloggers, a button is just a fancy link to your blog that you can paste into your template. I'd honestly never thought about it but figured me and my trusty side kick, Google, could get it figured out. Sure enough it was easy peezy.
Paste away Miss. Megan!!!

I'm kind of a big deal.....

Remember this dress???? Well my friend Stephanie over at Deviantly Domesticated has totally stroked my ego and done a sweet feature on my little sewing project. Go check it out and read all my witty commentary on sewing and advice for beginners.

Hopefully I don't injure myself while giving Jody all day high-fives for my awesomeness {Did anyone get that Zach Galifianakis reference?}

Speaking of Jody......Guess who is officially married to a 3L???

Another Selfish Plea

Do you see this adorable little lady? Well she runs a blog site called GROSGRAIN
and she likes to sew dresses and give them away......yes.....give them away!!! She is currently doing a giveaway for the dress below......
I KNOW......I want it so very bad! So here's the deal......go check out her blog {I suggest also adding it to your Google Reader}, leave a comment {Here's the LINK}, and if you win send me the dress ASAP!! Ok I guess that is kind of selfish so let me rephrase......if you win and you want to graciously pass the dress along I would be VERY appreciative. If you win and you keep the dress you have to, at a minimum, send pictures. Ugg....don't you just love the suspense of a giveaway? It's almost as fun as bidding on e-bay. Good Luck!

I love a good PROJECT

If you were to look at my Google reader you would quickly realize that I have a thing for style blogs and recently I've added a large amount of DIY sites to my blog compulsion. I've currently added at least 30 DIY projects to my favorites file and thought I would share.......just in case there are others that would like to get those creative juices flowing.

The first project is a Children's Art Tote from the site H is for Handmade.
JUST DARLING!!
When I saw this project I immediately thought about my nephew's. I think it would be perfect to take to church or restaurants to amuse the kiddos. If anyone is interested in a step by step guide to making this tote check out Amy's website
With Love,
