Why do all good things have to come to an end?

Is anyone else kind of bummed that Picnik will be no more after April 19th?
I am.
The thought of not being able to round the edges of my photos makes me sad.
No need to fret though, today I found the generic little brother of my beloved Picnik and all is right with the world.
Well at least my little corner of the world......
where we all live happily ever after with rounded borders.
I present to you a picture edited in Fotoflexer
Not too shabby, but I was sold when I found this jewel......

Who doesn't want their kids mug on some Benjamin's?
You're welcome!

*Less than 24 hrs and fotoflexer is already out. I got an e-mail from the fine folks at Picnik and they suggested picmonkey. I gave it the once over and, I must say, I like it!*

Hold up, wait a minute

While reading THIS very humorous blog this AM
I was informed that you could see how many folks are subscribed to your blog in Google reader
{for those so inclined click HERE for the how to}
I OBVIOUSLY checked mine and guess what???
There are 27!! people who subscribe to my over abundance of baby Duvall photos, general ramblings and awful punctuation/grammer.
27 may not be a big deal in comparison to other blogs, but when you're under the impression that only those obligated {grandparents} read.......it suddenly feels like a HUGE number.
So for those {not related to me} subscribers let me just say
Howdy!
feel free to say hello.
If you have a blog leave me a link.
I'll add you to the 60 that currently reside in my reader.
I'm aware I have a problem.

New subject
I got new spectacles this week and tried to take some photos of myself.
Unfortunately, being cheap and blind caused a few problems.
Issue 1 - I declined the anti reflective coating, which caused my glasses to be......reflective. Go figure.
Issue 2 - I decided against paying the extra cheddar to get my lenses thinned. This resulted in some crazy thick lenses. Embarrassingly thick. I'm not leaving the house in these coke bottles thick. Not sure what I was thinking since I'm a -7.0!!!

Anywhoodle, the lenses are getting returned for a thinner less reflective version.
What did I learn from this?
I need Lasik and my kids eyeballs don't stand a chance.
That's all.

Since it's Veterans Day.....

I give you the most patriotic proposal I've ever seen on the interweb
*I cried.....I feel I should be honest on this Veterans Day*
