Pregnancy Story

So about 6 months ago I joined a forum for women struggling with infertility. For the most part these women were terribly helpful and offered a lot of support but, at times, they were borderline crazy. It's because of these crazy women and their home remedies that I found out I was pregnant and now have a great "how I found out" story. It all started out with an herbal supplement called Chasteberry {look it up} and ended up with an ultra sound. Below is the story in bullets......because it's just easier that way.

• Crazy forum women convenience me that Chasteberry would be great to help regulate my cycles


• Sweet lady at the local organic vitamin store tells me I can't take Chasteberry if I'm nursing or pregnant........I laugh


• Sunday night I set out my workout clothes, my plethora of vitamins and a pregnancy test......I laughed but I'm still responsible
  
• Woke up at 5:00am Monday, December 13th and took the pregnancy test


• Got dressed and was running out the door when I remembered the stupid stick and the vitamins.
  
• Stick had a very purple vertical line and a super, super faint horizontal line


• Annoyed I got out the paper and convinced myself it was a faulty test


• Went to my Tabata class, had breakfast, got ready for work and headed out the door


• Stopped at the Walgreen's by my office to get another test


• Got to work and couldn't stop thinking about the pregnancy test in my purse


• Curiosity got the best of me and I took the test at work


• Not sure the pee even made it on the stick and 2 lines showed up.......pregnant!


• Almost fell off the toilet, started crying and then got on my knees {gross} and started praising Jesus


• Stuck test in my panty hose and told the girls I forgot something at home


• Garage door goes up at my house and Jody is standing in the doorway looking terrified....it's only 8:30am


• I get out of the car crying.......he thinks I got fired


• I tell him we're pregnant and he says "so what do we do now?"......my answer "no clue"


• We call the doctor and they have me come in for a blood test


• Nurse calls and tells me I am definitely pregnant and she thinks I'm further along then I think {my guess was 2 weeks}


• Had to wait 3 whole days before I went for the ultra sound and was VERY unproductive at work


• Went for the ultrasound and the tech said "6 weeks and 1 day"

So there you have it, our pregnancy story in 21 bullets.
