Happy {wet & soggy} Halloween!

Trick-or-treating is not that same as when I was a kid {I know that sounds really old}.

Here in Seattle, kids go to fall festivals and the little neighborhood centers to fill their pumpkins.

A few kids brave going house to house, but typically those kids are much older and stay up past 7:30.

I've also come to the conclusion that rain will almost always accompany us on our candy quest.....much to my disdain. Halloween may not be quite as I remember, but some things never change.....the kids costumes are just precious! This year Harrison went as his favorite lovie.....

The common theme in these 2 pictures is my child in a cartoon coma. He refused to stand still for a photo and this was my last resort.......sometimes it's hard making memories.
