In Loving Memory

In early November God took my grandaddy to glory after suffering several strokes. The logistics of getting to GA for the funeral were complicated but, thanks to the kindness of my mother & father-in-law, I made it home. The service was a beautiful tribute to my grandfather's life and the legacy that he left behind. After the service, the entire family went back to my grandparent's house to eat and visit. It was so nice to have a chance to catch up with aunts, uncles & cousins I haven't seen in awhile.

The remainder of my visit was spent hanging with my sweet niece and nephew.....what a joy! Vann is such a mellow little guy and was content just hanging in his bouncer.
Miss Annyson, on the other hand, was her typical spunky self. Much like her cousin Harrison, she is busy all the time.....we spent a lot of time running around outside.

We decided that we weren't going to GA for Christmas this year, opting to get together for a beach trip instead, so it did my heart good to have a chance to hang with my brother & his family.

A few favorites from GA

There's not a whole lot to say about our visit down south except......it was wonderful!
Given the opportunity, Harrison would spend all day outside and he loved being able to roam free at my brother's house. He was also in heaven, with all his farm equipment, and enjoyed riding on the big tractor. We spent the majority of our time jut letting the kiddos enjoy each others company and catching up on life. The pace, and schedule, was easy but filled with people I hold very dear to my heart. It always go by too fast and leaves me counting down to our next visit. Thanks to my brother and sister-in -law for hosting us and for my mom for being such a good roommate.
