A Break In The Rain

We finally got a break in the rain and decided to hit the park.
It's amazing that, in only a few months, H has become super confidant on all the equipment.
His attention span is still short, like 30 sec short, so I spent the majority of my time chasing him around, but it was enjoyable.
Harrison even showed improvement when I told him it was time to go, he waved and told everyone "bye-bye", much better then having to karate chop his body in half to force him into his stroller.

Good Grief!

So remember that time a few weeks ago when H had the stomach bug?

Well.....it was actually gastroenteritis and that sweet boy passed it right along to his mama & daddy.

{On a side note, it should actually be called gastroEXITitis because there was little entering and A LOT exiting......if ya get my drift.}

The same day I was reporting his speedy recovery happened to be the exact evening that the demise of our internal organs began. Jody bounced back pretty quickly, but it took me about 5 days to feel 100%.

Even though we are all feeling better, Harrison is still pooping like crazy!

 I'm talking up the back people.

No one ever told me there would be this much poop.

We are contributing it to teething......did anyone else deal with this nonsense?

Enough poop talk

Top {LtoR}: Chewing poor Sophie's face off, enjoying the sun in Seattle {post fetal position toilet hugging but pre 1st meal after virus gyro that sent me back to hugging said toilet}, new running shoes that are finally getting some mileage, little man's first attempt at crawling, lunch at the "big house"
Middle {LtoR}: holding his own bottle, hanging with great grandma, finally ending our 5 month safari ride, gel manicure in soft pink, sweet sweet baby face that gets smooched 1000x's a day
Bottom {LtoR}: Hmmm....not sure how that made a second appearance, my sick little guy asleep in our bed, learning to play the guitar or just trying to figure out how to get it in his mouth, amusing a cranky baby, Harrison showing me his sitting skills

Happy Heart Day!

Sweet mother of all that is good.......how I loved today.

 With the exception of waking up at 6am to Harrison's pajamas full of poop, it was perfect.

My day went a little something like this.....
a Valentine mug full of jo and a pancake breakfast
3 mile run followed by an uninterrupted shower and make-up session
{did I mention my in-laws are in town ❤}
an afternoon of store browsing and workout clothes buying
dinner at home and a delicious chocolate dessert

My heart & stomach are both very full tonight.
Hoping everyone is feeling the love.

Jump, Jump, Jumperoo.....

Harrison received a late Christmas present from his mom & day. 

 To say that he loves it is an understatement.....he was in the thing for hours!

Still Snowing

So here's the deal.....folks in Seattle don't know what to do with all this snow.

What they do know how to do is shut down streets & get their sled on.

We live near one of the steepest streets in the city so we bundled up the baby & went for a walk.

I really wished we had a sled.....or a tube. 

On a separate note.
I've been working with Harrison on his sitting skills, but he is not really interested.
He prefers standing.....and eating bananas
He is REALLY into bananas

Arizona Duvalls

We braved yet another plane ride this past weekend to visit Jody's youngest bro. & family. With all this snow on the ground, here in Seattle, it's hard to believe that 2 days ago we were in warm Arizona. The weather was mild, the babies were adorable and it was just really nice to spend some quality time with my brother & sister-in-law. Below are a couple pics from our vaca., but if you crave more baby photo preciousness check out Becca's blog.
